Flagler College’s Lifelong Learning program serves our local community by providing engaging, stimulating courses and fostering knowledge sharing and relationship building.

A new interdisciplinary Cinematic Arts major at Flagler College will let aspiring filmmakers get involved with all aspects of narrative and feature filmmaking in a program designed to model a real professional environment.

In the summer of 2022, Flagler College received funding from the state of Florida to further its efforts in classical and liberal education by establishing a Classical Institute.

It stands for Flagler Sophomore High Impact Practice, an academic initiative for second-year students that is aimed at improving the student learning experience. But at its core, it's about something even more powerful: preparing students for a diverse world, and even making a difference within it.

Of all the changes happening at Flagler College, one of the most unique will be the addition of an innovation center that promises to be much more than just a place for expensive technology and 3D printers.

When the Brown Innovation Center opened this past spring at Flagler, it wasn’t just a chance to show off the lab’s fancy 3D printers and laser cutter, but also to foster multidisciplinary collaboration across campus to find solutions for pressing challenges.

In 1964, when the doors of historically white churches in St. Augustine remained closed to African Americans, the entry to 132 Oviedo Street — then the Church of Christ - ushered in a new era of worship. For the first time in the city's history, white and Black congregants prayed together, beneath the same roof, shoulder to shoulder.

In the largest gift in Flagler College's more than 50-year history, the William R. Kenan, Jr. Charitable Trust has made a $12 million, 3-1 matching gift that will help make key investments in the College's future.
