Flagler College Institutional Review Board

Flagler College's Institutional Review Board (IRB) must review research projects that involve human subjects. Get more information below.

Flagler College is dedicated to protecting the rights and well-being of research participants.

The college's Institutional Review Board (IRB) must ensure researchers comply with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Common Rule regulations.

The Federalwide Assurance Agency (FWA) stipulates that all research projects involving human participants must be submitted for IRB review. You must get IRB approval for these projects before the beginning of any study activities. That includes recruitment or analysis of existing data. If you need a full Board review, you must get your complete application in no later than two full weeks before the Board meets.
