We are committed to a healthy, safe, and informed campus community. The charts below explain our key metrics and community health indicators and define our campus alert levels.

Level 4: Very High Alert - Only Essential Operations

Residence Life & Dining Services: Residence Halls closed except for essential students and Dining Services closed

Student Support Facilities: Closed

Classrooms: Students not on campus. Instruction is fully remote/virtual.

Events: Virtual only

Shared Office Spaces: Essential workers may continue work in shared spaces with health safety measures observed.

Level 3: High Alert - Low-Density Operations

Residence Life & Dining Services: Residence Halls open with reduced occupancy, common space closed, no visitors; and Dining services will be to-go encouraged, physical distancing and 50% capacity in place, with ready-to-go meals available for those who do not wish to enter the dining hall

Student Support Facilities: Limited access utilizing scheduled appointments for services

Classrooms: Classes should be held in classrooms where physical distancing is possible such as large lecture halls. Classes unable to adhere to physical distancing should convert to hybrid delivery.

Events: Virtual or in small groups abiding by health safety protocols. No contact or sharing between individuals.

Shared Office Spaces: Capacity limitations are established. Most work remains remote and essential use of shared spaces is planned to not exceed capacity limitations.

Level 2: Moderate Alert - Medium Density Operations

Residence Life & Dining Services: Residence Hall common space will now be accessible with physical distancing measures and reduced occupancy; visitors still not allowed; Dining Services will remain limited to 50% capacity with physical distancing maintained. Employees must take meals to go.

Student Support Facilities: Facilities that have been open since the beginning of the semester (i.e. Counseling Services, Health Services, the Student Center, the Career Development Center, etc.) will continue to operate as they have since that time. The gym/workout facilities in FEC will be opened at limited capacity. Students will be able to reserve a one-hour session through Saints Connect to use the facility. Students will be required to maintain social distancing and wear a mask at all times while utilizing the gym equipment. Students will also be expected to wipe down all equipment after each use.

Classrooms: Classes should be held in classrooms where physical distancing is possible such as large lecture halls. Classes unable to adhere to physical distancing should convert to hybrid delivery.

Events: Large events may be held outside or in venues that allow for appropriate social distancing practices. Clear guidance on entry and dismissal is established.

Shared Office Spaces: All employees with private offices are required to return to campus to work. If employees share a common work area, then their cabinet member will work with them to determine the appropriate number of people allowed in the office at a given time. Staggered shifts will be considered where appropriate. Divisional VPs and/or supervisors will work with employees to develop schedules for returning to the workplace, as well as discuss other necessary steps for the College to bring the majority of employees back to campus.

Level 1: Low Alert - High Density Operations

Residence Life & Dining Services: Residence Halls open with traditional occupancies, policies and procedures in place & Dining Services at or near room occupancy levels.

Student Support Facilities: All facilities may return to full occupancy and service.

Classrooms: All classes may return to full occupancy.

Events: No restrictions on event size or cadence.

Shared Office Spaces: No restrictions on shared office spaces.
