New Residents

When is Move-In?

Move-in is on Friday, January 14th from 10:00am-12:00pm. Starting at 10:00am will give you the opportunity to take your time the morning of and not have to worry about rushing to get to your new home first thing in the morning.

Checking In

All new residents will check to their new residence hall and meet their RAs, as well as a plethora of Flagler College staff, faculty, and volunteers. Addresses for the Residence Halls are:

Abare and FEC Halls- 1 Malaga Street, St. Augustine, FL 32084

Cedar Hall- 94 Cedar Street, St. Augustine, FL 32084

Lewis Hall- 18 Valencia Street, St. Augustine, FL 32084

Ponce Hall- 74 King Street, St. Augustine, FL 32084

When you arrive, you will be given a temporary parking pass that will be valid for the move-in time slot of 10:00am-12:00pm. We can only accommodate one car at a time, and we cannot accommodate any U-Hauls. If you have more than one vehicle, they will need to park down in the Abare Parking Garage at 1 Malaga Street until you can swap out vehicles.

You will then go to the lobby of the building to get your key and be shown to your room. After you have finished moving, you will need to move all vehicles to the Abare parking garage until you get your permanent parking pass.

Packing lists have been mailed to your home address on what to bring!

You can find your room assignment at MyFlagler.edu.

When You Get to Your Room

When you get to your room, you are going to have an opportunity to unpack and organize your belongings. Please note that since you are arriving in the Spring semester, we ask that no furniture is rearranged until your new roommates return that weekend and you all discuss room arrangements together. You can put in a maintenance request to bunk your beds, but that will not occur the day of move-in. You cannot bunk or unbunk beds yourself.

Facility Work Orders

Your room has been prepared by our housekeeping staff, but if there are any facility concerns, please submit them at: https://www.flagler.edu/offices/business-services/facilities-management/

Please remember that you are moving into a room where others may already live, so the room will look “lived in.”

After Move-In

Please join us for lunch in the Ponce de Leon Dining Hall from 12:00pm-1:00pm after you move-in.
