Located in Tinlin House, 65 Valencia Street. CARE (Campus Assessment, Referral, and Evaluation) exists as a proactive, multi-disciplinary program in support of the safety, health, and well-being of all students, faculty, and staff.

We strive to help students manage personal concerns that interfere with learning and academic progress. Counseling Services offers initial assessments, brief individual counseling, group therapy, workshops and educational presentations on a variety of topics, crisis intervention services, and professional consultations to staff, faculty, students, and parents.
Disability Resource Center (DRC)

The (DRC) provides reasonable curricular/co-curricular accommodations to ensure that students with disabilities have access to the College and its programs through intentional interventions, programs, and services. The Health & Wellness Canvas Course provides students, faculty, and staff with resources (videos, handouts, worksheets, etc.) on an array of topics designed to promote the prevention of issues, as well as help individuals address critical topics one may experience while going to college. Rather than trying to avoid anxiety, you can make an important shift and face it.
PTSD Coach was designed for those who have or may have, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This app provides you with education about PTSD, information about professional care, a self-assessment for PTSD, opportunities to find support, and tools that can help you manage the stresses of daily life with PTSD. Tools range from relaxation skills and positive self-talk to anger management and other common self-help strategies. You can customize tools based on your preferences and can integrate your own contacts, photos, and music. This app can be used by people who are in treatment as well as those who are not.
Tactical Breathing Trainer can be used to gain control over physiological and Psychological responses to stress. Through repetitive practice and training, anyone can learn to gain control of their heart rate, emotions, concentration, and other physiological and Psychological responses to their body during stressful situations.
Breathe2Relax is a portable stress management tool that provides detailed information on the effects of stress on the body and instructions and practice exercises to help users learn the stress management skill called diaphragmatic breathing. Breathing exercises have been documented to decrease the body's 'fight-or-flight' (stress) response and help with mood stabilization, anger control, and anxiety management. Breathe2Relax can be used as a stand-alone stress reduction tool or can be used in tandem with clinical care directed by a healthcare worker. Breathe2Relax now uses HealthKit and your Apple Watch device to measure your heart rate throughout your breathing exercise to help provide an even more complete picture of the relaxation experienced.
Grief: Support for Young People
The app has information about bereavement, grief, feelings, and how to help yourself. You can also read others' stories and watch short films written and made by bereaved young people. It is for 11-25-year-olds who have been bereaved of someone important to them. It can also be used by friends, teachers, parents, and professionals who would like to know how to support bereaved young people.
Bias Modification is an app/game that is based on the research in Cognitive bias modification (CBM). CBM has been shown to help overcome the tendency to focus on negative or threatening social cues. CBM does this by making you repeatedly select positive over negative information.
