Associate Professor of Mathematics

Professional Profile

Dr. Adeyemi is an assistant professor of mathematics at Flagler College. She serves as the assistant department chair of the Department of Mathematics and Technology and the course coordinator for Calculus I. Dr. Adeyemi’s research interest includes statistics and its application. Her dissertation research focused, in part, on the implementation of the Bayesian and Hybrid inference for correlated binary outcomes, particularly in application to the non-nested disposition model and she is still working in this line of research. Dr. Adeyemi is also a studio artist, who focuses on abstract oil painting. She is particularly interested and currently researching to find connections and relationships between mathematics and art (particularly in her own artwork). Prior to joining Flagler College in Fall 2016, Dr. Adeyemi served as the Talmon Bell Chair and assistant professor of Mathematics at Sterling College. Dr. Adeyemi enjoys teaching mathematics to college students, both majors and non-majors. When not teaching, Dr. Adeyemi loves to spend time with her family, loves to paint, sing on her church choir, and to travel - exploring the world.
