Professional Profile

Professor Lodi earned her M.A. in Graphic Design from Savannah College of Art and Design and her B.A. in Fine Art from Flagler College. Diana Lodi is a seasoned graphic designer, educator, and leader with a wealth of experience in academia and industry. As the Creative Director and Owner of Lodi Design Studio, she has led numerous projects on brand identity, web design, and packaging for various clients. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence have earned her recognition, including prestigious awards such as the ADDY Awards at the local and district level and the American Advertising Federation’s President’s Award for significant service to advertising and the community.

Diana has held key academic roles, including Assistant Professor of Graphic Design and Graphic Design Program Coordinator. Her dedication to teaching and mentorship has been instrumental in shaping the next generation of designers. She has developed and taught various graphic design courses, covering topics ranging from typography and branding to web design and interactive UX/UI design. Diana's commitment to her students extends beyond the classroom as she advises and mentors them, guiding their career paths and professional development. As a Graphic Design Professor, Diana Lodi’s research interests span various interdisciplinary domains, notably focusing on user experience (UX) design, artificial intelligence (AI) for teaching tools, and sustainability. She aims to advance both the theoretical understanding and practical applications of design principles in fostering better user experiences, educational methodologies, and sustainable practices in design. 

Beyond her professional endeavors, Diana remains actively engaged in community-integrative education projects, collaborating with organizations and allowing students to apply design solutions to real-world challenges. Diana's passion for design and dedication to education and community engagement make her a highly respected figure in the academic and professional realms of graphic design. Her tireless efforts continue to inspire and empower aspiring designers to make meaningful contributions to the world through their craft.
