
Jason Schwab
Professional Profile
Jason Schwab is an Associate Professor in the Visual Arts Department and the Brown Innovation Center (BIC) Technology Director.
He specializes in photography and sculpture, and his work manifests as a hybrid between the two. Jason has participated in the Vermont Studio Center and Wassaic artist residencies. He is the recipient of the 2015 Greater Columbus Arts Council Visual Art Fellowship. His most recent solo and two-person exhibitions are "Speak Soft(er) and Carry a Big Stick" at alt_space Gallery, New Smyrna Beach, and “What a Man, What a Man” with Leslie Robison at the Alexander Brest Gallery, Jacksonville University, Jacksonville Florida.
Jason has been published in the Fourth International Photography Annual by the Manifest Gallery and has been on the Board of Directors for the Mid-America College Art Association since 2016.
