Sara Pedigo
Professional Profile
Sara Pedigo is a representational artist whose paintings and drawings record the seemingly insignificant moments of everyday life. Based on the simple act of gratitude towards being alive, Pedigo’s practice pursues the conscious act of being present in the world around her. Pedigo has exhibited throughout the United States in group and solo exhibitions including, the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, Cue Foundation, Naples Art Museum, Cummer Museum, Wynn Bone Gallery, and Florida School for the Arts. Her work has been featured in many print publications and as the cover art for of the University of Delhi’s journal of poetry, "Ivory Tower," and "Play Button: poems by Liz Robbins."
Pedigo received her MFA, in Painting, from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and her BA, in Fine Art, from Flagler College.
