Program Requirements

The minor in American Sign Language (ASL) will give you the ability to communicate with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in professional and educational settings. The minor will also give you a rich understanding of Deaf Culture, Deaf Identity, and Diversity. You'll also get to appreciate Deaf literature, performing arts, and the educational and political aspects surrounding the community.
