Program Requirements
Travel through the past—from Ancient Greece to the Vietnam War—and journey across the globe to Africa, Europe, Latin America, and Asia. Flagler College offers small class sizes and expert faculty. Your professors will help you explore topics of your interest. You'll end with your own original research paper in Senior Seminar.

People who majored in history had a mean salary of $63,000 in 2021, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). History Majors were also more likely to earn a graduate degree than other majors on average (51% vs. 38%.)
History Majors also learn about music, art, architecture, philosophy, and literature, plus writing and thinking skills that can help you do well in many fields. They include:
