Flagler College offers a bachelor's degree in Spanish, a minor, and a Spanish Certificate that shows employers your language skills. No matter which route you choose, Spanish will put you ahead of the game; 63.7 million people—19.1 % of the U.S. population—are of Hispanic origin.

At Flagler, you'll learn much more than Spanish. You'll also explore the culture of Spanish-speaking countries. Learn their history. Appreciate their culture. You can also learn hands-on during an immersive, three-week trip to Spain, where caring faculty lead you on a journey to discover Spain's food, heritage sites, and history.

Flagler also offers many vibrant study abroad programs that let you immerse yourself in the Spanish-speaking cultures of Spain, Argentina, Costa Rica, Panama, Chile, and Peru. Learn more at the Study Abroad page.

And with Core, our groundbreaking general education program, you'll get a broad-based education. At Flagler, we're dedicated to educating the whole person. We foster intellectual, social, and personal transformation in our students.

One of the greatest opportunities that was presented to me during the time in the language department was a one-month study abroad to Spain. It was a complete cultural immersion that heightened my Spanish education and speaking skills to a new level.
