Study Abroad Information for Faculty

Faculty members may propose and develop a study abroad program. Before doing so, consult with your Department Chair and the Center for Global Education to discuss the program. All faculty proposals must be submitted through the Terra Dotta website at studyabroad.flagler.edu

Important Information

The Following Deadlines Pertain to All Faculty-Led Study Abroad Programs, Including Spring Break And Summer:

February 15th

Last day to present the student list to the International Center.

April 1st (The Year Prior to Travel)

Last day to send, electronically, all the appropriate application forms to the International Center Director. The Study Abroad Committee will review and approve all programs by the end of the spring semester for the following year. (Proposals are due in April 2020 for trips that will travel in spring or summer 2021). This does not include FlagSHIP programs. FlagSHIP programs have an earlier, February deadline.

Flagler College works with pre-vetted third-party providers who can assist with logistics for Faculty-Led programs. Faculty can choose to use a provider or plan the trip themselves. The following is a list of approved providers. Should you have questions about any of these providers, please contact the Assistant Dean of Global Education, Jessica Howell at: JHowell@Flagler.edu.
