Flagler College acts as the backdrop for the St. Augustine Film Festival

St. Augustine Film Festival
January 13, 2023
By Anna Boone
For 13 years, independent filmmakers, actors, and producers come to our historic city for an experience celebrating the art of cinematic storytelling.

With three days of programming, the St. Augustine Film Festival showcases emerging and recognized talent in the independent filmmaking industry while attracting visitors to explore our community. Flagler College acts as a host for film screenings and events throughout the weekend festival.

Students and employees are encouraged to take advantage of their free entry into all film screenings in the Lewis Auditorium with a Flagler ID. Tickets for screenings in the Gamache-Koger Theater and the Alcazar Room in the Lightner Museum are available here.

Saturday, American actress Karen Allen will visit the Lewis Auditorium to introduce the film she is featured in “A Stage of Twilight,” with a Q&A session. Allen can be seen in classic favorites like Indiana Jones, The Sandlot, and Animal House. This exciting session is open to all students and employees.

Take advantage of this robust cultural event in our backyards that “highlights the skills of independent and foreign filmmakers and offers fresh insights into different cultures, the common bonds that link us, and the emotional art of storytelling.”
