Flagler College presents “Landscapes and Language,” a conference on the Franciscan Order

Flagler College is excited to host a Conference on the Franciscan Order and the Spanish Borderlands. This is the fourth international conference that Flagler and The Academy of American Franciscan History have hosted together

Scholars from Germany and Spain will join with those from across the United States to cover issues related to topics such as archeology, geography, history, linguistics, and religion. This year’s conference theme is “Landscapes and Language: Exploring the Cultural Contours of La Florida and Beyond.”

The conference is free and open to the public, but the space is limited. The events will be held March 24-26.
