For more than a decade, Florine Démosthène has explored the concept of love that we all chase but never fully understand through conversations with close friends and strangers from her travels. “As I reflected on a lot of the conversations I had over the years, it’s always a battle between a religious version of love, a traditional version of love, and a modern version of love,” she said.

The Flagler Fast Track Master's program was started at Flagler College to give undergraduate Deaf Education majors an opportunity to pursue higher education related to their specific field of study. When Jamie Henry graduated from Flagler College in 1994, little did she realize that she would be returning one day to appear as the keynote speaker at the Women of Vision Advisory Board’s Power of the Purse, an event designed to raise scholarship funds and increase educational opportunities for deserving women at the college.

Flagler alumna Katie Cox was recently named among Jacksonville Business Journal’s 20 Women of Influence for her work as Vice President of Marketing at the Gator Bowl, the sixth-oldest college bowl game in the country.
